On Thursday, December 12, over 150 guests celebrated in style at the book launch party for ‘In The Tub’ by director, writer, photographer TJ Scott (Spartacus, Xena: Warrior Princess) at the stunning Light in Art gallery in West Hollywood. The evening was co-hosted by Katrina Law (Arrow, Spartacus) and Stacey Dash (Clueless). TJ Scott signed books and dozens of celebrities featured in the book gathered for great group photos and cast shots on the red carpet. TJ is donating all his proceeds from the book generated that evening and moving forward to UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation in support of breast cancer research.

The heavy, gorgeous coffee table book features over 100 celebrities (musicians, artists, models, actors) photographed in a bathtub. The book has already impressively amassed $140,000 in pre-sales and was financed in part through a Kickstarter campaign that raised an outstanding $80,000. The event was topped off with an extra special sizzle factor – the actual bathtub from the In The Tub photoshoots was featured in the room and many guests jumped in the tub for fun photo opps.

Using his love for photography, TJ Scott’s In the Tub is a visual sensory feast with over 100 pages full of beautiful figures captured in minimalist settings.  Since Spartacus is filmed in New Zealand, a lot of his celebrity subjects are stars from the Starz show. Former JAG star David James Elliott and Dallas‘ J.R. Ewing himself (Larry Hagman) are a couple of other stars that appear. Some celebrities photographed in the book include Stacey Dash (Clueless), Liam McIntyre and the cast members from the original Starz series SpartacusCarrie Keagan (VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live), and Kelly Hu (CW’s Arrow).

Three flatscreen TV’s placed throughout the venue showcased photographs from the book on loop while guests sipped on Stacked Wine, Go Girl Energy Drinks, and nibbled on cheese and crackers by Charlie Scola.
